Abstract

Enterprise inventory management is facing a situation of rising trouble as a result of the use ofglobal supply chains which are supported by demand volatility, multi-channel distribution, andseasonal fluctuations and uncertainties of suppliers that are beyond the reach of the traditional planning algorithms.
