Background: Psoriasis is a chronic, immune-mediated inflammatory skin disease with systemic manifestations, affecting approximately 2–3% of the global population. It presents with well-demarcated, erythematous, scaly plaques that follow a relapsing-remitting course. While traditionally viewed as a dermatologic condition, psoriasis is now recognized as a systemic disorder with potential involvement of the joints (psoriatic arthritis), cardiovascular system, and metabolic pathways
