Abstract

The purpose of the present paper is to obtain the commutativity of a prime near with a generalized derivation    associated with a nonzero derivation     satisfying oneof the conditions: , (ii) , (iii) , (iv)  and (v)  for all ∈ and, , the set of nonnegative integers. Moreover, we give an example which shows the necessity of primness hypothesis in the theorems.
