Efficient Service Embedding in Smart Buildings with Joint Energy and Latency Optimization
Keywords:
.Abstract
This paper, a rough outline of the Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) framework is suggested to reduce the combined power usage of the computational processing and network traffic patterns. The given model is implemented to a smart building setting to explore energy-efficient and latency-aware deployment of IoT resources. The core issue as discussed in this paper is to identify an ideal number of IoT nodes and communication connections to enable efficient integration of Business Processes (BPs) into the underlying IoT infrastructure.
