Abstract

India is the second-largest producer of fruits globally, contributing about 99 million tonsannually, yet it suffers one of the world’s highest post-harvest losses due to inadequate coldchain infrastructure. Estimates suggest that 20–30% of fruits in India are lost post-harvest,
