Metabolic syndrome (MetS) in adolescents comprises a constellation of risk factors includingcentral obesity, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and impaired glucose regulation, increasing therisk of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Rising adolescent obesity and sedentarylifestyles have contributed to a growing prevalence of MetS globally and in India.
