Abstract

Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is a systematic approach utilized byindustry experts to determine possible failures in processes and products andtheir potential effects. It is chiefly a preventive approach to foreseeing and averting risks before they arise. By tackling these possible failure areas,companies are able to stimulate continuous product and processimprovement in terms of quality.
