Abstract

This research paper presents a comprehensive comparative analysis of the financial performanceand financial distress indicators of major oil and gas companies in India and the Sultanate of Oman.The study examines key financial metrics, bankruptcy prediction models, and economic indicators that influence the oil and gas sector in both countries. Using data from 2018-2023, the research
applies quantitative methods including ratio analysis, Altman Z-score models, and statistical
