Abstract. This paper describes the design and implementation of a traffic light controller for managing the intersectionbetween a busy highway and a little-used farm road. The controller uses a finite state machine (FSM) to efficientlymanage the light signals, ensuring optimal traffic flow while prioritizing highway traffic.
