Abstract

In serial communication, data is transmitted in blocks of 1s and 0s, and the validity of theseblocks is determined by their lengths. Specifically, blocks of 1s must have an odd length, while blocks of0s must have an even length. This paper presents the design of a Mealy state machine (FSM) for detectingerrors in such serial data transmission
