Abstract

Internet-of-things (IoT) devices are deployed in distributed and decentralized environments where they need to communicate and coordinate to perform tasks. Fault tolerance is essential for designing high-availability systems, which operate continuously without
interruption. This is crucial in areas like healthcare, finance, transportation, and communication. There is a significant issue regarding the consequences of downtime.
