Abstract

As cyber threats evolve in sophistication and frequency, the need for accurate and automated cyber risk quantification has become essential, particularly within complex IT infrastructures. This paper presents a strategic framework for automated risk modelling in cybersecurity, aiming to enhance cyber risk quantification across various industry sectors. By focusing on key challenges such as poor visibility, a dynamically changing threat landscape, and the shortage of resources, we highlight the critical elements necessary for successful risk quantification.
