Abstract

The effect of Hall current and rotation on MHD free convection flow in a vertical rotating plate filled with porous medium have been studies. A uniform magnetic field is applied in the direction normal to the plane of the plate. The entire system rotates about an axis normal to the planes of the plates. It is assumed that the entire system rotates with a uniform angular velocity  about the normal to the plate and a uniform transverse magnetic field is applied along the normal to the plate directed into the fluid region. The magnetic Reynolds number is considered to be so small that the induced magnetic field can be neglected.
