Valuation of Indian Startups and analysis of Time Horizon to Turn as Unicorn

Unicorns are venture-backed startups with a valuation of more than Rs. 100 crores. The Indian companies started entering the Unicorn domain in 2010, but 101 out of 104 companies entered into the prestigious unicorn group in ten years, from 2013 to 2022. Consider the mentioned factor in count the present study’s analyses of the positions of the unicorns in the period from 2013 to 2022. The study explores the number of years taken by the companies to become a unicorns, industry-wise difference in becoming a unicorns, the percentage of valuation captured by individual unicorns in 2022, year-wise valuation and share achieved by the unicorns in 2022,
year ranges for unicorns and valuation, founding year and valuation of unicorns. Secondary data is used to conduct the total study.
