Abstract

This study investigated the influnce of Tantalum addition on the  behavior of corrosion of Zr2.5Nb biomedical alloy. The samples were prepared by powder metallurgy approach. The corrosion investigated by using different tests, these tests including (open circuit and potentiodynamic polarization). The results show that the addition of Ta improving the resistance of corrosion of the alloy in Hank's solution.
