Abstract

This study presents an innovative lifetime distribution formed by integrating the exponential and the new XLindley distributions, termed the compound exponential new XLindley distribution (CENXLD). The resultant distribution displays decreasing hazard rate
properties, thereby rendering it applicable to a multitude of contexts in reliability and survival analysis.
