Abstract

This paper examines the challenges faced by the World Food Program (WFP) on the forecast, procurement, and ordering policy to determine the required level of inventory management needed to satisfy future demands of internally displaced persons (IDPs). The deterioration rates of beans are high in this part of the geopolitical region due to the impact of climate, temperature, and the variety of the beans themselves.
