Abstract

Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) rely on energy stored in batteries for propulsion. The Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) is responsible for recharging the vehicle’s battery by connecting to an AC power supply. Beyond charging, this technology enables
ground tracking and facilitates control information exchange between electric vehicles and charging stations.
